By signing the contract or paying a deposit, the client acknowledges having read and accepted these terms.
Note: this English translation is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Our quote is valid for 30 days. Beyond that, please contact us for an update. By signing the contract or paying a deposit, the client accepts these terms.
Only the work specifically described in the quote is included. Any work not planned, or requested by the client, is an extra, billed at an hourly rate of $105.00 per employee, plus the cost of required materials and equipment, plus a 15% administration and profit markup and applicable taxes.
The price may change if material costs increase significantly between signing and execution. The Contractor may decline to proceed if the client refuses a proportional increase; the client may terminate the contract if they refuse the increase.
Toiture & Isolation Provinciale inc. reserves the right to invoice 50% of the total contract amount 24 to 48 hours before work begins, payable upon receipt. The balance is due immediately after completion, to the technician on site. Late fees of 2% per month (24% per year) apply to unpaid amounts.
The client acknowledges that product thickness may vary due to uncontrollable factors. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client is fully responsible for installing a compliant thermal barrier (e.g., ½" drywall or an approved fire-resistant product) over all sprayed surfaces, per the Building Code.
The client must remove all items in the renovation area that could be damaged or stained (particularly during spray foam application). The company makes reasonable efforts to protect the premises but is not responsible for breakage, stains or damage to items not removed or inadequately protected by the client. For outdoor work, the client must clear the area (vehicles, furniture, decorations, plants, etc.) and provide safe access.
All unused materials remain the property of Toiture & Isolation Provinciale inc. It is the client's responsibility to maintain their roof in winter so the drain is not blocked.
The warranty covers workmanship only. Materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty under its own conditions. For the warranty to be valid, the client must report any defect in writing within 30 days of its discovery.
The company is not responsible for delays, damages or inability to perform due to strike, lock-out, fire, accident, material shortage or any other cause beyond its control.
The client may unilaterally terminate the contract before work begins. Written or verbal notice must be given at least 48 hours in advance for any contract signed more than 10 days prior. The client will then pay costs incurred, the value of work performed and goods supplied.
You may cancel this contract, for any reason, within 10 days of receiving your copy of the contract and required documents. If the service is not provided within 30 days of the date stated in the contract, you have 1 year to cancel. The period may also be extended to one year, notably for missing permits or bonding. When the contract is cancelled, the merchant must refund all amounts within 15 days. For more information, contact the Office de la protection du consommateur.
